KENT CANDIDATE MASTERS (KCM)

As part of our on-going commitment to Kent Junior Chess players, KJCA is awarding a title – called "Kent Candidate Master" – to be used in Kent, to the overall Champions of each season’s Grand Prix. The titles are being awarded for all future seasons as well as retrospectively for all past Champions as per our Roll of Honour which for some sections dates back to 1989.

The Roll of Honour, now includes this new Kent Candidate Master list and may be found here:

Each winner will be awarded a prestigious badge for this lifelong title. The title is abbreviated to KCM.

We hope that this encourages competition within Kent and participation at our GPs; as well as a desire to continue playing chess in Kent, attain the top spot each season and get as high as possible on the overall KCM list.
