The trophy that I always wanted to have!

It was the 31st May and I went to a Mega-Final at the Bishop Justus Church of England School in Bromley.  At the beginning I thought I was going to lose all of my games, but when I won my first game I built up my confidence.

I would like to thank GM Chris Ward especially since in my 2nd round I used a tactic which I learned from him in ACES in Beckenham.

I would also like to thank Krishna Shiatis and Kiran Shaitis for helping me at my School Amazikidz chess camp and Luca for organising the coaching days which helped me a lot. Without these people I would never have been able to come first in the U9’s. Thank you also to Jessica and Jackson Wen for all their help in improving my chess skills.

Lastly, I would like to thank my mum for her encouragement and support, so that I could get 5/6 and win the U9‘s trophy that day.

I had an incredible, unforgettable, and magical day. Thank you very much for you all.
